Home at last!

I've been away for much of this summer. I finally came home last weekend from a trip to South Carolina with my family, and frankly am less than enthused about tackling the piles of laundry and the general cleaning that needs to be done.

I'm behind on basically all of my projects, from decluttering to sprucing up my office, so I can't give any updates there.

However, one thing that you can count on from a month full of travel is a shopping bag full of goodies!

I got two of these mini lanterns for about $15 at a store in Colonial Williamsburg. They come with those fake tea lights, which are fine, but of course real tea lights create better ambiance. I really love the soft glow they create in my living room in the evening.

This storage box for my kitchen (I'm keeping mason jars of sugar, flour, salt, etc. stored here) was a HomeGoods find!

My best friend found these corn on the cob holders for me! Aren't they awesome??

Okay, back to my to-do list, I suppose!
