His desk is our former Ikea dining table (the one I bought for my very first apartment in North Carolina!). It works perfect for him since he wanted a deeper desk on which he can spread out all of his many papers. We bought the storage bin under the desk at Target for under $20, and the two large picture frames came from Target too. I used them to display these old editions of Harper's Weekly (from the late 1800s!) that I picked up for three dollars from an estate sale at the former Kennedy-Shriver home in North Bethesda. Since it is in the bedroom, I also placed a large Smith & Hawken basket from Target in the corner to hold extra blankets. I'm so happy with how the new space turned out! It's masculine and yet neutral enough to fit in to our bedroom.

The Office: New Work Space for Little Money!
We've been working on decluttering and reorganizing as part of our New Year's Resolution. As part of that, we moved my husband's office into a nook in our master bedroom and it was super cheap and easy to do!
