1. Peonies: I can't think of May without thinking of peonies. In my old hometown of Ann Arbor, the University of Michigan's peony garden really started coming into bloom around May. Additionally, Peonies played a central role in my May wedding! My bridesmaids carried lovely white peony bouquets by Fun & Fancy Flowers!

3. Decorative paper: I was contemplating how to update simple frames, and found a great solution from Paper Source, one of my favorite new stores. Instead of matting, why not line inexpensive frames with fine papers? Their decorative paper is gorgeous and affordable. This one reminds me of my gold and white themed wedding!

4. Ceramic Fruit Crates: These have been popping up everywhere lately! Here is a model from Sur La Table. It's berry picking season, so why not display properly the fruits of your labor? (Pun intended!). $5.95/each

It may not be rustic, but these stripes are classic and I would love to get some for outdoor seating! You can also search potterybarn.com to find the right style pillow for an outdoor area (i.e. by the garden, at the lake, etc.)!
Happy May!
PS: Remember those mason jar votives I shared last month? Pottery Barn has them on sale for $6! You can label them with chalkboard labels too perhaps. :-p
