Think Pink!

Merging my style preferences with my husband's meant a decrease in the pink or overly feminine accents I display in our home. Valentine's Day, however, is an exception! Now I know pink is not a V-day necessity, but it is the perfect opportunity to bring out a beautiful, flowery pink and red quilt, pieced by my great-grandmother. I also hung a cute "love" sign which my mother picked up for me at Michael's last season. Check out the burst of girliness below!

In other news, I'm on the hunt for a mirror to hang over our dresser. The dresser is long, low, and natural wood. I am thinking of a large oval mirror to break up the boxy feel of the rest of the room's furniture. Any suggestions on affordable mirrors greatly appreciated!

And lastly, a very happy birthday to my wonderful husband, who fills our home with love and will never ever go out of style! :)

  1. Happy Valentines Day! Love the quilt! We could do a blog in itself about grandma's quilts...
